Few days ago I finished my new mask made by oryginal from Kalkriese. This one is smaller than first one (15x17 cm) and it's ready to use with the helmet - I made the hinge ...it's my version of the hinge ,the soloution similar to others exemples form many masks ...however as independent element rivated to the mask - not continuation of the mask's part.
In my opinion some holes over eye-bows are used for attaching somthing other than hinge construction (maybe some decorate) ... so I dont made it in my reconstruction.
For customer's wish I made steel rands not brass.
Off course some little details I changed by my way (this is MY Kalkriese mask ) ...but I think it doesn't destroy whole expresion of the mask
I hope it's better than my first one Kalkriese mask ...
