Hello! I want to present you my helm. What you say about it.
This helm was made form 1.5 65G steel and tempering(trempe).
Sorry for English, I don't remember French.

I think it is a great helmet!
For the dating, I would say that it is 1250. This helmet comes from Maciejowskie's Bible and it shows 13th century helmets.
Why did you make it in spring steel? For combat?

Yes, this helm for combat(bugurt), not for living history( We have two types of combats - full contact fight(bugurt) and living history9full reconstruction in armor and weapon). In Russia bugurts very hard, like this
