Hello.
Les bras (? I don't know if this word is correct...) basés sur des bras de Churburg (Milan, 1385, Scalini CH S10)

Chaque morceau est main et forgée chaude, spring steel (?I don't know the word in French...).

Décoration Fluer-De-lys en laiton dans le modèle de l'armure de Charles VI. Quelques modifications ont été apportées, en raison du souhait de client (comme le bras supérieur prolongé et la décoration additionnelle). La forme des bras ont été faites pour adapter des mesures de client, ainsi elles sont un peu différent que l'original.

Voici les photos des bras prêts et quelques photos prises pendant forgement (?). Le premier est photo du original (de : M. Scalini - Armoury of Castle Churburg 1).

Hmm.. I don't understand this phrase. In literal translation it means that you would like to have a pair of arms like this for grinding some grain??? Could you explain me what this phrase means?

Thanks Réchignac, but we would want them to be closer to original. The customer has muscular arms, but quite short and he really wanted extended upper arm.
Now Greg (Thorkil) is making Churburg legs and they also will be a bit different than original, because original legs were made for very slim guy.

Mais sérieusement, ce prix que tu as écrit est grande exagération. Pour 12000 euros tu pourras avoir 3 paires de bras de nous. Mais si tu penses ils valent ceci, en raison de la quantité de travail, c'est gentil de tois. Merci.

Yes it's a wonderful work!I appreciate a lot the shape of the vambrace and couter, but I have a particular attention to the unsanded arms..I like too much to see the shape rough from the forge, It shows very clearly the work on it...:-)

:-) To sand is "poncer" in french, I wasn't talking about ths use of sand properly..

Mais Marcos - Greg (Thorkil) n'emploie pas le sable pour le polissage ! Il fait le polissage à la main. Jamais tout sable ! Après avoir vu des certains casques et armures finir avec le sable, nous pensons qu'employant le sable pour polir fait la surface des regards d'armure un peu comme des armures d'un plastique. Le polissage de main le fait semble authentique, à notre avis.

But Marcos - Greg doesn't use sand for polishing! He makes polishing by hand. Never sand! Having seen some helmets and armours finish with sand, we think using sand for polishing makes surface of armour looks a bit like a plastique. Hand polishing makes it looks authentic.
