Hello

I'm looking for some sources for strange hybride:
textil (gambeson) cap integral with Aventail ,weared under helmet... for the period 11-13th. cen.

I know this kind of the soloution from one steppen burial (Kairka) from 13-14th cen. ...so ,I thought maybe it's possible soloution for westen knights also

The cap you're talking about has a textile aventail? Can you show us?

I saw this kind of cap on a german museum internet site. But, it seems to relate to the XVth or XVIth century ! I try to find it...

Avantail is made in chain-mail ...I'm looking for textil cup with mail avantail
