Good day everybody!
I'm looking for information about bull of pope Eugenius the third dated approximately 1147 in which he presented to the Order of the Temple the red cross. Unfortunately I've never before seen the title of this document, but I suppose this decision must be somewhere written in some manuscrïpt. Did anybody find something similar?
p.s.: I'd like to apologize for typing in english, because my french is much worse. And sorry if posted in wrong section.

Hello and welcome here
your demand is going to be certainly moved in " le scrïptorium du guerrier documenté"
My English is very bad , but I use reverso.net so that that looks like English
Regrettably, I have no answer to your research.
Sorry

Hello !
This bull is typically what I call a « ghost source » !!

Everybody speak about it, but no way to find it … I have the same problem with the bull of Alexander III which gives to Hospitallers the red banner with white cross (dated from 1130) …

Normally, all the Bulls have a copy in the library of the Vatican...

deny de cornault, thank you very much!
As I know vatikan library, I meen internet version, is out of work, since july 14 2007, for three years... So it seems quite difficult to find smth if you don't live in Rome.)))
May be somebody found or saw some documents from Church Council, which took place in Paris in 1147.
Isarn, I'll try to ask my friends, who reconstruct Order of st. John, may be they help you...
