En complément du très bon bouqin de V. Serdon "arcs et arbalètes armes du diable", vient de sortir, en Angleterre "From Hastings to teh Mary Rose, The great WarBow" de Matthew Strickland et Robert Hardy chez Sutton publishing. 538 pages.

Quelques infos en plus...
M. Strickland a enseigné l'histoire dans divers établisements de Cambridge avant d'obtenir un poste de professeur d'histoire médiévale à l'université de Glasgow ou il enseigne depuis 1990. Il a particulièremnt travaillé sur la culture des chevaliers et la guerre médiévale entre autre entre le 11e et le 13e ciècle.
R.Hardy a fait partie du comité d'administration des royal armouries de leeds, c'est un expert dnas les domaiens de l'histoire de l'archerie, Il est aussi consultant pour le Mary rose Home Trust et fait partie des administratuers de la structure. C'est l'auteur de Longbow, a social and military history. R Hardy est aussi acteur on l'a entre autre vue dans le role de... Cornelius Fudge dans les derniers Harry Potter.
