Un coup de pouce à des amateurs sympas...
Hello everyone,
For the last four years a friend from our group Michal Drzewiecki (also IJL affiliate) has been making a "historical drama" film. A tale of chivalric romance and adventure, set in 13th century Poland.
The production was totally self financed. The movie was filmed in more than 10 locations (also the known Gniew castle), with tens of amateur actors, extras and stunts from the Polish re-enactment groups. Finally Michal has finished it. It was to be a 35-40min, but in the result it's around an hour long.
You can watch the trailer of the movie here -> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XfIlepVnJYY
The website of the film is www.dawnotemuwilzy.pl (unfortunately the website is only in Polish)
If you will be interested (it has the English subtitles), I'll keep you informed on how it will be distributed.
Fred, perhaps there would be a chance to show it to the public on Hackaland tournament, like Knights Tale on tournament in Gniew? ;-)
Best wishes,
Jan
